Peanut Butter Jelly Time?

Have you ever seen the Family Guy episode where Peter Griffin is dressed as a banana singing "It's peanut butter jelly time, it's peanut butter jelly time, peanut butter and a baseball bat." Well if not it's hilarious and you have to see it. By the way I'm a big fan of Seth MacFarlane. (Look him up on IMDB, you'll be surprised by what he looks like, the voice doesn't fit the face.)

Well I bring this up because my husband, Riley, loves this. He'll get the tune in his head and with hands up he dances (more like wiggles) to this song. It's pointless and there's no catch, it's just funny and it makes Riley laugh. So I asked Riley, what should I name my blog and the first thing out of his mouth was Peanut Butter Jelly Time and I had to run with it.

So like my description says I'm a twenty-something, will be married for 3 years come July 26, and just gave birth to our first child. Her name is Maria Anne, she was born at 1:21am on 1/21, was 8lbs 12 oz. and was 21 inches long. I imagine there is something cosmic about the number 21 surrounding her birth but we can't figure it out so Riley and I just play 1 and 21 at the roulette table.

So as far as first posts go, this is not one for the history books. This blog is my personal vent machine, my wind tunnle of words. You'll see topics from parenting to why I love/hate Albuquerque, NM. I'm quickly leaving my twenty-somethings, as my best friend was so quick to point out, so I need to get it all out before the thirty-somethings change my perspective.
