Netflix and Early Child Development

Netflix is wonderful. We signed up for it yesterday and I have almost 140 movies in my Queue. The thing is they're not all for me and Riley, we found some for Maria too. They have a lot of early child development DVDs that are perfect for the mom ho wants to get their kids love of learning started early. So don't think of Netflix as yet another way of making our society lazy and mindless viewers but as a learning tool . Check out all the special interest lists, you're bound to find something other than some action packed movie. Don't get me wrong I love movies and the bulk of the 140 are for me and Riley but it's good to watch something educational or at least gets the wheels turning.

So speaking of movies, what have you watched lately and what would you recommend?

I just saw Confessions of a Shopaholic and it was super cute, one of those you can watch while keeping the baby entertained, no attention span needed for this one but cute nonetheless.

Q: Can it be done?

Freelance writing is my dream and I fear it cannot be done. I'm trying to break into different markets and so far it has been fruitless. I do have an article pending with Albuquerque The Magazine but I haven't heard a thing, not even a blip on my sensitive radar. I've got some feelers out for blogging jobs but those are very hard to break into unless you're an expert in a particular area.

So I'm trying to figure out what I can hone in on. What information do I have to offer in a fun and exciting way? So Ask yourself this question. What are you an expert at and share with me what you discover. Are you an expert at organizing, personal finance, eating, drinking, anything? Have fun on your journey of discovery!
